Job summary

Peddler in Almere is seeking a hub associate to support our last-mile operations. This role requires availability every Saturday from 07:30 to 16:30, with the stamina to walk and lift as needed.

You will lead communication between the hub and headquarters, close the hub after shifts, onboard teammates, and help keep KPIs on track while improving processes.

English at B2 level is required; Dutch is a plus. Prior logistics exposure is nice but not mandatory, and relevant certificates are welcome.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do

• Lead communication between the hub and our headquarters.


• Close the hub and ensure everything is tidy and ready to go for the next shift.


• Support the team with onboarding, problem-solving, and answering their questions.


• Quality (and quantity!) control for irregularities.


• Track hours, shifts, and KPIs for our biggest hub!


• Keep the hub running smoothly by fixing processes and removing blockers.

What You'll Need

• Availability on Saturday (07:30 to 4:30).


• B2-level English (Dutch is nice but not necessary!)


• An eye for quality, safety, and following all security-related rules.


• To be physically fit: you will be walking and lifting a lot.


• Discipline, good organisational skills, and the ability to focus for long periods of time.


• Previous experience working in a hub / logistics would be nice (but not necessary!)


• Any relevant certificate (EPT, forklift, etc.) would be nice.
