Job summary

Peddler in Utrecht is seeking a hands-on Hub Operations helper to support our last-mile hub. You’ll help keep the hub running, support onboarding, and ensure packages are processed efficiently.

Flexibility to work evenings and Saturdays is required; you should be physically fit, with good English, and a proactive mindset to fix blockers and improve processes. Qualifications

• Availability for evenings/mornings and Saturdays.
• B2 level English (Dutch not required).
• Eye for quality and safety and following security rules.
• Physically fit for walking and lifting tasks.
• Discipline with good organisational skills.
• Experience in a hub/logistics is a plus but not required.
• Relevant certificates (EPT, forklift, etc.) are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead communication between the hub and our headquarters.
• Close the hub and ensure it is tidy and ready for the next shift.
• Support the team with onboarding, problem-solving, and answering questions.
• Quality and quantity control for irregularities.
• Track hours, shifts, and KPIs for the main hub.
• Keep the hub running smoothly by fixing processes and removing blockers.

This role may require availability on evenings or mornings and every Saturday.

What you’ll do

Our hubs keep the engine up and running: from supporting our riders to handling the bikes, and ensuring no package is lost in the shuffle. You will:

• Lead communication between the hub and our headquarters.
• Close the hub and ensure everything is tidy and ready to go for the next shift.
• Support the team with onboarding, problem-solving, and answering their questions.

What you’ll need

• Availability on evenings/mornings (4 weekdays + every Saturday).
• B2-levelEnglish (Dutch is nice but not necessary!)
• An eye for quality, safety, and following all security-related rules.
• To be physically fit: you will be walking and lifting a lot.
• Discipline, good organisational skills, and the ability to focus for long periods of time.
• Previous experience working in a hub / logistics would be nice (but not necessary!)
• Any relevant certificate (EPT, forklift, etc.) would be nice.
