Job summary

Peddler is hiring for a Saturday hub role in Almere. You will lead communications between the hub and headquarters, close the hub at the end of shifts, and support onboarding, problem-solving, and daily team needs.

A focus on quality, safety, and process improvement is required, with physical readiness for walking and lifting. Ideal candidates are disciplined, well-organised, and able to focus for long periods.

Qualifications

• Availability on Saturdays (07:30–16:30) or similar shift.
• English at B2 level or better; Dutch is a plus.
• Eye for quality and safety, plus following security rules.

Responsibilities

• Lead communication between the hub and headquarters.

This role requires availability on every Saturday.

What you'll do

• Lead communication between the hub and our headquarters.
• Close the hub and ensure everything is tidy and ready to go for the next shift.
• Support the team with onboarding, problem-solving, and answering their questions.
• Quality (and quantity!) control for irregularities.
• Track hours, shifts, and KPIs for our biggest hub!
• Keep the hub running smoothly by fixing processes and removing blockers.

What you’ll need

• Availability on Saturday (07:30 to 4:30).
• B2-levelEnglish (Dutch is nice but not necessary!)
• An eye for quality, safety, and following all security-related rules.
• To be physically fit: you will be walking and lifting a lot.
• Discipline, good organisational skills, and the ability to focus for long periods of time.
• Previous experience working in a hub / logistics would be nice (but not necessary!)
• Any relevant certificate (EPT, forklift, etc.) would be nice.
