Job summary

g2 Recruitment is seeking an experienced HSE Manager to lead all site HSE activities on a large-scale EPC project in Rotterdam, Netherlands. You will ensure compliance with company, client and local HSE regulations and standards, and develop, implement and monitor HSE policies and safe systems of work.

The role requires NEBOSH Diploma, a strong background in piping and pre-commissioning, and proven contractor HSE oversight.

• Conduct site inspections, audits, risk assessments and safety observations.
• Manage incident investigations and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Deliver HSE inductions, toolbox talks and ongoing safety training.
• Support construction, piping and pre-commissioning teams with safe execution of works.
• Monitor contractor performance and drive a proactive safety culture across site.
• Produce regular HSE reports and KPI metrics for project stakeholders.

Requirements

• Previous experience working as an HSE Manager on large-scale industrial, energy, oil & gas, petrochemical or EPC projects.
• Strong background in piping, mechanical construction and pre-commissioning activities.
• NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent HSE qualification.
• Excellent knowledge of HSE legislation and industry best practices.
• Proven experience managing contractor and subcontractor HSE performance.
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent English required.
