HSE Manager Opportunity for a chemical plant operator in the Port of Rotterdam. Hybrid working arrangement. START: October, November or December 2025 (January considered).

LOCATION: Port of Rotterdam, Netherlands.

Responsibilities

• Advise projects, operational staff and construction site teams on health, safety, environmental, and quality issues.

Qualifications

• HSSEQ/EHSQ/HSEQ technical background with relevant certification.
• HSE certification suitable for site-based work (IOSH, NEBOSH, MVK or HVK).
• Experience with engineering, surveying or construction companies (ideally EPC).
• Strong hands-on safety management experience (office or onsite).
• Experience with HSE/HSEQ Systems, strategy and internal stakeholder management.
• Excellent English language skills (Dutch or German beneficial, but not essential).

Role context

The client is a process plant operator. Ideal background includes chemical, power, petrochemical or heavy manufacturing industries (e.g., steel). The role is on the client side and requires a HSEQ Manager who can support projects and site staff across health, safety, environmental and quality issues.
