Job summary

g2 Recruitment is seeking an experienced HSE Manager to lead all site HSE activities on a large-scale EPC project in Rotterdam, Netherlands. You will ensure compliance with company, client and local HSE regulations and standards, and develop, implement and monitor HSE policies and safe systems of work.

The role requires NEBOSH Diploma, a strong background in piping and pre-commissioning, and proven contractor HSE oversight.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership and safety-management capabilities on large-scale projects.
• Ability to develop and enforce HSE policies and safe work practices.
• Strong communication with clients, contractors and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead all site HSE activities across the project.
• Ensure compliance with company, client and local HSE regulations and standards.
• Develop, implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures and safe systems of work.
• Conduct site inspections, audits, risk assessments and safety observations.
• Manage incident investigations and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Deliver HSE inductions, toolbox talks and ongoing safety training.
• Support construction, piping and pre-commissioning teams with safe execution of works.
• Monitor contractor performance and drive a proactive safety culture across site.
• Produce regular HSE reports and KPI metrics for project stakeholders.
