Job summary

McDermott International is seeking an HR Generalist to support core HR operations across the employee lifecycle. You will help with onboarding, performance management, administration, employee relations, and total rewards administration, ensuring data accuracy and compliant documentation.

You will partner with HR Business Partners and COEs to drive HR initiatives, respond to inquiries, and maintain system integrity across platforms. This role emphasizes process consistency and data governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent relevant experience
• 3+ years of experience in an HR generalist or similar operational HR role
• Knowledge of core HR principles, policies, and employee lifecycle processes
• Experience using HRIS such as SAP, Oracle, or PeopleSoft
• Strong verbal and written communication; ability to maintain confidentiality

Responsibilities

• Support onboarding, performance management, and HR administration
• Provide MyHR support and answer process/system queries for employees and managers
• Issue standard letters and communications related to HR policies
• Assist in talent acquisition, onboarding, and offers processes
• Generate monthly and ad hoc HR reports and dashboards
• Coordinate with Centers of Excellence on global HR initiatives
• Offboard employees and manage exit processes
