Job summary

Da Vinci Derivatives is seeking an HR contact in Amsterdam to partner with managers and employees across teams. Depending on level, you support day-to-day people questions, run onboarding and offboarding, draft contracts, and help with annual reviews while handling confidential data with discretion.

You will collaborate on global HR projects with colleagues in Miami, Mumbai and Hong Kong, requiring proactivity, Dutch employment law know-how, and fluent English. The role is onsite in Amsterdam.

Qualifications

• 2 to 4 years of HR experience, including direct contact with managers or employee cases.
• Working knowledge of Dutch employment law.
• Ability to advise direct, analytical colleagues such as traders and engineers, and to push back when needed.
• Flexibility to take on varied tasks beyond job titles.
• Proactivity: act without being asked.
• Precision with data and documents.
• Discretion with confidential information.
• Fluent English, written and spoken; Dutch is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coach managers and employees as they prepare for people conversations.
• Answer employee questions on policies, contracts, leave and benefits.
• Run onboarding and offboarding for the Amsterdam office.
• Draft employment contracts, amendments and HR letters.
• Support the yearly performance review and bonus cycle.
• Prepare HR reports and spot trends worth acting on.
• Flag issues to the Chief of Staff and the wider HR team early, before they become problems.
• Keep employee data accurate on our in-house HR platform, and suggest improvements.
• Support immigration, travel and events.
• Represent the Da Vinci culture in everything you do.
• Total package for the first year ranging from EUR 50k and 65k, including base and variable pay, with opportunities to grow.

Job description

You join our HR team as a point of contact for employees and managers in Amsterdam. Depending on your level, you either support the employees of one or more teams, and/or partner with the team leads. From the start, you can advise on everyday people questions, and you take on a share of operational work. You also work on global projects with HR colleagues in Miami, Mumbai and Hong Kong.
