Job summary

Thales is seeking an HR Business Partner for the NL organisation. You will partner with managers and employees to drive HR initiatives in a dynamic, international matrix setting. The role emphasizes coaching, staff development, diversity, and performance management across multiple units.

You will operate in a hybrid work model with a focus on strategic HR, culture change, and efficient administrative processes. English and Dutch fluency are required, and the team collaborates across 68 countries.

Qualifications

• HB-/WO degree in HRM or Business Administration.
• Approximately five years of experience as HR advisor in a complex international matrix organisation.
• Knowledge of HR instruments and processes.
• Flexible and agile mindset with ability to switch tasks.
• Excellent communication skills and customer orientation.
• Fluent in English and Dutch.

The Human Resources department is responsible for all employee related activities in the most broad sense. The HR Department plays a vital role to the success of the NL organisation. The Dutch HR department is multi-disciplinary and exists off HR Directors, HR Business Partners, HR Shared Service Centre, together with a number of Centres of Excellence (CoE); Compensations & Benefits, Professional Development, Payroll, HRIS, HR Legal, Talent Acquisition, Talent & Culture and the "Pensioenbureau". The HR team supports all Dutch offices; Hengelo, Huizen, Eindhoven and Delft.

About The Job

As an HR Business Partner, you have a varied job, managing the process of constant change with an eye for innovation. Thinking out-of-the-box and thinking along about cultural changes within the organization are also aspects that come to light in your role.

Your week as an HR Business Partner starts with the entire HR team, to keep each other informed about the most important projects and share relevant information during the stand-up meeting. During the working week you are regularly in conversation with different parties within the organization. In your role you are constantly switching between the interests and needs of the organization, the employees and managers. Acting like a coach is important in this. You are a sparring partner for department managers, covering various HR-related topics, the (expected) staffing, diversity and inclusion, professional and's personal development programs, administrative matters, outflow and absenteeism. You also provide support, coach and challenge in the field of Performance Management and Professional Development.

About You

You are able to keep the overview and 'challenge' the interests of managers, employees and other stakeholders. You proactively contribute in obtaining the organizational goals by translating HR goals and questions into practical solutions. Besides acting as an interlocutor, it is important that you can easily connect with your colleagues in the HR department.

What you are able to offer:

• A degree HBO-/WO towards HRM/Business Administration;
• Approximately five year experience as HR advisor within a complex international matrix organisation;
• Knowledge of HR instruments;
• A flexible and agile mindset with capability to switch to as needed;
• A valuable interlocutor who can easily switch between different levels and stakeholders;
• Excellent communication skills, honourable, customer oriented, take initiatives, team player;
• Flexibility and drive to achieve desired outcomes in a VUCA environment.
• Is ready for a new challenge within a nice team to achieve results together;
• Good knowledge of the English & Dutch language
