MYLAPS Sports Technology Group in Haarlem, The Netherlands, is seeking an HR Advisor (part-time, 24–32 hours/week) to join our HR team. You will advise managers and employees, help shape our HR tooling, and drive process improvements.

You’ll support HR reporting via Excel, manage HR administration, and collaborate with stakeholders across the organization. The role combines hands-on HR with system optimization and data-driven insights.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience as HR Advisor or in a similar HR role.
• Experience with HR systems; HiBob is a plus.
• Strong Excel skills for HR reporting and analytics.
• Analytical mindset with ability to challenge and improve processes.
• Solid knowledge of Dutch employment law and HR best practices.
• Fluent in Dutch and English, written and spoken.
• Based in the Netherlands and able to commute to Haarlem.

The Role

MYLAPS Sports Technology Group (a Garmin company) is looking for an HR Advisor to join our HR team (4FTE) at the Haarlem headquarters. In this role, you advise team managers and employees on HR-related topics and act as a sparring partner within the organization. What sets this role apart is a focus on HR systems and processes: you contribute to development of our HR tooling and processes and aren't afraid to challenge and propose improvements and initiatives.

What You'll Do

• Advise team managers and employees on HR-related questions, and act as a sparring partner on HR topics within the organization
• Contribute to the functional management and further development of our HR system (HiBob). You don't just use the system, you help shape it
• Drive HR process improvement and automation within HR
• Build and maintain HR reporting, using Excel to turn HR data into insights for the organization
• Handle HR administration for your part of the organization, processing changes, answering questions and ensuring accurate records.

What You Bring

• Several years of experience in an HR Advisor or similar role
• Experience working with an HR system, ideally including functional management or process improvement (HiBob experience is a plus, not a must)
• Strong Excel skills. You're comfortable building and maintaining reports
• A critical, analytical mindset. You're able to spar confidently with senior stakeholders
• Sound knowledge of Dutch employment law and HR best practices
• A proactive, independent working style
• Fluent in Dutch and English, both written and verbally
• You live in the Netherlands and are able to commute to our Haarlem office
