Job summary

EW Facility Services is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor in Amsterdam to ensure rooms and public areas meet high standards and to train and guide the team on cleanliness practices.

You will focus on quality checks, on-floor support, and providing constructive feedback to help colleagues improve. This role emphasizes hands-on supervision with no heavy admin work and requires availability 5 days a week, including some weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping (preferably in hotels)
• Leadership or supervisor experience is a plus
• Speak English well, Dutch is not required
• Available 5 days a week including weekends between 8am till 18pm
• Living in Amsterdam or nearby

Responsibilities

• Check guest rooms and public areas to ensure they meet the hotel’s quality standards.
• Train new Room Attendants and demonstrate cleaning techniques.
• Provide clear, friendly feedback and help colleagues improve their work.
• Spot small details that others might miss to maintain high standards.
• Communicate with your team to ensure smooth operations.
• Create a positive working atmosphere where everyone can perform at their best.

We offer

• Salary between €16.70 and €18.44 per hour
• Salary paid every 4 weeks (13 payments per year)
• Travel allowance from 20 km per day
• 8% holiday allowance (paid in May)
• 10% vacation hours + 5% end-of-year bonus
• 26 vacation days (full-time) and extra day off on your birthday
• 8-month contract with 1 month probation period

Your job

Would you like to work at one of Amsterdam's most beautiful hotels? As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you make sure that hotel rooms and public areas are clean, welcoming and ready for guests.

Your job is mainly about checking quality and helping your team improve. No paperwork or administration, just being on the floor, supporting your colleagues and making sure everything looks perfect!

What will you do?

• Check guest rooms and public areas to make sure they meet the hotel's quality standards.
• Train new Room Attendants and show them how to clean rooms correctly.
• Give clear, friendly feedback and help your colleagues improve their work.

• Communicate with your team to make sure everything runs smoothly.

Working hours

• Starts between 08:00 and 10:00 and finishes between 16:00 and 18:00.
• 5 days a week, including at least 2 weekends per month
