Job summary

EW Facility Services is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor for citizenM Amstel in Amsterdam. You will lead a team to clean rooms to high standards and support daily operations in a modern hotel environment.

Responsibilities include guiding staff, coordinating tasks, and ensuring timely service while maintaining quality. This role requires flexibility, teamwork, and English communication with colleagues.

• Lead and support your housekeeping team.
• Clean rooms and check that everything is in order.
• Ensure team understands daily tasks and standards.
• Assist with opening, closing and extra cleaning tasks.
• Coordinate with hotel staff as needed.
• Order clean linen and track working hours.
• Lead the team in the absence of the Housekeeping Manager.

Job description

We offer

• Gross hourly wage between €16.70 and €18.44, depending on your experience*
• A job for 30–35 hours per week
• A workplace in Amsterdam, easily accessible by public transport
• Salary paid every 4 weeks, so 13 payments per year
• Travel allowance of €0.14 per kilometre if you travel 20 km or more per day
• 8% holiday allowance, paid in May
• 10% holiday hours accrual and a 5% year-end bonus
• 26 vacation days based on full-time employment and an extra day off on your birthday
• A 7-month contract with a 1-month probation period, with the intention to extend
• Training and opportunities to grow within EW Facility Services

Your job

You will work at citizenM Amstel, a modern hotel with 88 rooms in Amsterdam. Together with your team, you make sure every room is clean and ready for the next guest.

As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you help your team with their daily work. You check the rooms, give your colleagues support and clean rooms yourself when needed.

What will you do?

• Help and guide your housekeeping team
• Clean rooms and check if everything looks good
• Make sure everyone knows what to do
• Help with opening, closing and extra cleaning tasks
• Talk with the hotel staff when needed
• Order clean linen and keep track of working hours
• Lead the team when the Housekeeping Manager is not there

Work Schedule

• 30–35 hours per week, including weekends
• In the morning and afternoon (9am - aprox. 18pm)
