Job summary

EW Facility Services is seeking a Room Attendant for Hotel De L’Europe Amsterdam, a renowned 5-star property in central Amsterdam. You will clean and prepare luxurious guest rooms, change bed linen and towels, replenish amenities, and ensure all rooms meet our high standards.

The role is full-time (33–38 hours/week), typically 09:00–17:00, with at least two weekends per month. We offer a gross hourly wage from €15.52, 13 payments per year, travel allowance, holiday benefits, and growth

Qualifications

• Living in Amsterdam or nearby.
• Comfortable speaking English; Dutch is not required.

We offer

• Gross hourly wage from €15.52*
• Salary every 4 weeks, so 13 payments per year
• Travel allowance of €0.14 per kilometre if you travel 20 km or more per day
• 8% holiday allowance, paid in May
• 10% holiday hours accrual and 5% end-of-year bonus
• 26 vacation days based on full-time employment and an extra day off on your birthday
• A 7-month contract with a 1-month probation period, with the intention to extend
• Training and opportunities to grow within EW Facility Services

Your daily tasks include:

• Cleaning and preparing luxurious guest rooms and bathrooms
• Making beds and changing bed linen and towels
• Replenishing guest amenities and arranging everything perfectly
• Making sure each room meets the hotel's high quality standards

What makes this hotel special? The rooms are spacious, with many different layouts and luxurious details. Learning how to prepare each room correctly takes time and attention. After your training period, you will normally clean 8–12 rooms per day. You will work alongside 10–15 housekeeping colleagues each day in a friendly, international team. English is the main language spoken at work.

The hotel is located in the centre of Amsterdam, around a 10-minute walk from the metro.

Your work schedule

• Full-time: 33–38 hours per week, divided over 5 days
• Available at least 2 weekends per month
• Your shift starts at 09:00 and usually finishes around 17:00
• On busy days, you may finish later, as your working day ends when all assigned rooms are ready

You are

• Available for 33–38 hours per week, including at least 2 weekends per month
• Comfortable speaking English; Dutch is not required
• Someone who enjoys detailed work and takes pride in excellent results
• Reliable, motivated and comfortable with physically active work
• Living in Amsterdam or nearby
• Willing to follow the hotel's professional grooming standards: visible tattoos must be covered, visible piercings are not permitted, and hair colours should be natural-looking

Experience in hotel housekeeping is a plus, but your motivation, willingness to learn and attention to detail are just as important.
