Job summary

EW Facility Services is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor for Amsterdam's premium hotels. You will ensure rooms and public areas are spotless, welcoming, and guest-ready, while leading and coaching your team on cleaning standards.

Daily tasks focus on on-floor leadership, quality checks, and hands-on support. You will not handle paperwork, but you will drive consistency, detail orientation, and a positive team spirit in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping, preferably in hotels.
• Leadership or supervisory experience is a plus.
• Speak English well; Dutch not required.

Responsibilities

• Check guest rooms and public areas to meet quality standards.
• Train new Room Attendants and show cleaning methods.
• Provide clear feedback and help colleagues improve their work.
• Spot small details others might miss.
• Communicate with the team to ensure smooth operations.
• Create a positive working atmosphere for the team.

We offer

• Salary between €16.70 and €18.44 per hour
• Salary paid every 4 weeks (13 payments per year)
• Travel allowance from 20 km per day
• 8% holiday allowance (paid in May)
• 10% vacation hours + 5% end-of-year bonus
• 26 vacation days (full-time) and extra day off on your birthday
• 8-month contract with 1 month probation period

Your job

Would you like to work at one of Amsterdam's most beautiful hotels? As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you make sure that hotel rooms and public areas are clean, welcoming and ready for guests.

Your job is mainly about checking quality and helping your team improve. No paperwork or administration, just being on the floor, supporting your colleagues and making sure everything looks perfect!

What will you do?

• Check guest rooms and public areas to make sure they meet the hotel's quality standards.
• Train new Room Attendants and show them how to clean rooms correctly.
• Give clear, friendly feedback and help your colleagues improve their work.
• Spot small details that others might miss.
• Communicate with your team to make sure everything runs smoothly.
• Help create a positive working atmosphere where everyone can do their best.

Working hours

• Starts between 08:00 and 10:00 and finishes between 16:00 and 18:00.
• 5 days a week, including at least 2 weekends per month

You are

• Experience in housekeeping (preferably in hotels)
