Job summary

Postillion Hotels is seeking a Supervisor Housekeeping to coordinate activities in guest rooms, public areas and sanitary facilities. You lead by example, cooperate actively, schedule staff, assign tasks, give instructions, train and supervise quality, while ensuring HACCP and safety regulations are followed.

You will assist the Head of Housekeeping with tasks such as registering linen and checking stock, reporting to the Head of Housekeeping.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel cleaning and managerial experience.
• Punctual and meticulous with an active work pace.
• Presentable, calm and polite with clear communication.
• Lead by example with an inspiring personality who makes it easy for others to ask questions.
• Comfortable conducting appraisal interviews.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities for guest rooms, public areas and sanitary facilities.
• Schedule employees, assign tasks, give instructions.
• Train and supervise execution quality; ensure HACCP and Occupational Health and Safety regulations are followed.

As Supervisor Housekeeping, you will coordinate the activities of the employees regarding the guest rooms, public areas and sanitary facilities. You are the type of person who leads by example, you cooperate actively and can handle the corresponding responsibilities, such as: scheduling the employees, assigning tasks, giving instructions, training and supervising the progress of the execution quality. You follow the regulations of HACCP, Occupational Health and Safety and ensure that your team follows them. Where you can you assist Head of Housekeeping with various tasks, such as registering linen or checking stock. A varied job with a lot of responsibility, reporting to the Head of Housekeeping.
