Job summary

Unicorn Hospitality Services is seeking experienced Housekeepers in Amsterdam to clean guest rooms, public areas, and serviced apartments to high standards. You will ensure cleanliness, restock supplies, and respond to guest requests with a friendly, professional approach. Previous hotel/hospitality experience is required.

Must be able to commute in the Amsterdam area and have valid work documents for the Netherlands. Direct employment with Unicorn Hospitality Services B.V.

Qualifications

• Speak English or Dutch; additional languages are a plus.

• Change bed linens, towels and amenities; ensure fresh presentation.
• Dust, vacuum, mop, and sanitise surfaces to maintain high cleanliness standards.
• Report maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly.
• Restock cleaning supplies and maintain equipment.

We are looking for experienced Housekeepers to join our team in Amsterdam. You will be responsible for providing high-quality cleaning and service in hotel rooms, apartments, and public areas.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained.
• Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as required, ensuring all items are fresh and well-presented.
• Dust, vacuum, mop, and sanitise surfaces to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly.
• Restock cleaning supplies and ensure equipment is maintained in good working order.
• Provide exceptional customer service by responding to guest requests promptly and courteously.
• Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality setting is mandatory.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills and a friendly disposition towards guests and colleagues alike.
• Be able to commute in the Amsterdam area.
• Speak sufficient English or Dutch, any extra language is a plus
• Have the correct documents to work in The Netherlands
