Job summary

Unicorn Hospitality Services is seeking experienced Housekeepers to join our Amsterdam team. You will clean guest rooms, public areas and apartments to high standards and ensure a welcoming atmosphere for guests.

We value a team player with hospitality experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting. English or Dutch fluency and valid Netherlands work documents are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel or hospitality settings is mandatory.
• Strong attention to detail and high cleanliness standards.
• Good time management and ability to prioritise tasks.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Clear communication and guest-friendly approach.
• Must be able to commute to Amsterdam area.
• English or Dutch language skills required; additional languages a plus.
• Valid work documents for the Netherlands.

Responsibilities

• Dust, vacuum, mop and sanitise surfaces for a welcoming atmosphere.
• Report maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly.
• Restock supplies and maintain cleaning equipment in good order.
• Provide exceptional guest service and respond to requests promptly.

We are looking for experienced Housekeepers to join our team in Amsterdam. You will be responsible for providing high-quality cleaning and service in hotel rooms, apartments, and public areas.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained.

• Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as required, ensuring all items are fresh and well-presented.

• Dust, vacuum, mop, and sanitise surfaces to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.

• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly.

• Restock cleaning supplies and ensure equipment is maintained in good working order.

• Provide exceptional customer service by responding to guest requests promptly and courteously.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality setting is mandatory.

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.

• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

• Good communication skills and a friendly disposition towards guests and colleagues alike.

• Be able to commute in the Amsterdam area.

• Speak sufficient English or Dutch, any extra language is a plus

• Have the correct documents to work in The Netherlands

• Starting salary: €14.99 per hour
