Job summary

Clink Hostels is seeking a Supervisor to help run two vibrant properties, MAMA and COCO, ensuring guests feel welcome and the team stays energized. You’ll be visible, approachable and involved in day-to-day operations across both sites.

You’ll lead by example, coach staff, coordinate shifts, and take ownership of decisions while partnering with management for support when needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in supervising teams in hospitality is preferred.
• Ability to lead from the front while remaining approachable.
• Comfortable coordinating tasks across two locations and shifting priorities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations at two hostels (MAMA and COCO).
• Lead, coach and support the hostel team to deliver great guest experiences.
• Coordinate shifts, guest issues, and cross-site collaboration with management.

Your profile

This role suits someone who likes being trusted with responsibility and isn’t afraid to take the lead.

We can help you develop the skills and confidence that come with that. What we do need is someone who already has the instinct to get involved rather than wait to be told what to do.

You are:

• A confident and sociable communicator who genuinely enjoys working with people
• Independent and comfortable using your own judgement
• Proactive – if you see something that needs doing, you act
• Comfortable making decisions and taking responsibility for them
• Calm and practical when something unexpected happens
• Someone who leads by example and is willing to jump in alongside the team
• Able to organise a shift, prioritise tasks and keep things running smoothly
• Comfortable being the first point of contact for guest and team issues while on shift
• Someone who can coach, support and give feedback to team members
• Open to receiving feedback yourself and learning from mistakesGenuinely interested in creating memorable experiences for travellers
• Excited to work with an international team and guests from all over the world
• Interested in developing yourself as a leader and taking on more responsibility over time

Reality check
