Job summary

Soho House Amsterdam is seeking a friendly Host to greet guests, answer calls, and manage reservations for the House Kitchen. You will support the floor team while delivering thoughtful service from arrival to departure. Strong English and Dutch communication, plus OpenTable/MICROS experience, are required.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years experience in a similar role with high-volume phone handling.
• Experience with OpenTable and MICROS systems is required.
• Strong communication in English and Dutch, professional and timely.
• Flexible availability for opening and closing shifts.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and members, answer inquiries, and manage seating.
• Answer all incoming calls, take reservations, and update bookings.
• Provide excellent service and assist floor team as needed.

Host - Soho House Amsterdam

At Soho House a Host is one of the first point of contacts for members guests and staff before being seated for their dining experience. As a Host, you are responsible for greeting guests, answering all incoming calls, and creating reservations for the House Kitchen. You will also deliver excellent service from initial greeting and seating members and supporting with the floor team where needed. The Host, has acute organizational and people skills which often in infectious and promotes positive experience from the moment anyone arrives up until their departure.

• Salary: 2.450,63€ (above Horeca CAO) + 8% holiday allowance & tips

What We Are Looking For

• Must have 1-2 years experience in a smilar role and answering high-volume phone lines and answering inquiries professionally and timely
• Problem solving skills and bring conflict resolution
• Reliable, representative, positive and enthusiastic
• OpenTable and MICROS experience
• Basic InDesign knowledge
• Flexible and available to working both opening and closing shifts
• Strong communication skills in English and Dutch
