Job summary

EarthStream Global seeks an experienced Construction Manager / Site Manager to oversee high-voltage infrastructure projects across a regional transmission network. You will act as the client's on-site representative, managing safety, quality and programme delivery, while coordinating contractors and stakeholders throughout construction.

Role covers new-build, refurbishment, asset replacement and maintenance with hybrid site presence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years' experience delivering construction/infrastructure projects.
• Experience supervising contractors and site activities.
• Knowledge of health, safety and environmental legislation.
• Experience with construction contracts, ideally design & build.
• Valid site safety certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Experience leading and coordinating construction teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate construction and site coordination meetings.
• Act as the client's on-site representative during project execution.
• Promote and enforce a strong safety culture across all activities.
• Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits.
• Review designs and develop execution, phasing, inspection plans.
• Coordinate permits, outages and access requirements.
• Manage resources including contractors and vendors.
• Oversee construction activities from prep to handover.
• Inspect, review and accept completed works.
• Prepare progress reports and stakeholder communications.
• Support continuous improvement across delivery programmes.
• Ensure compliance with specifications, contractual obligations, HSE and sustainability.
