Job summary

Jobgether in the Netherlands is seeking a Technical Services Engineer to deliver high-quality technical support in healthcare IT, balancing hands-on troubleshooting with client communication and implementation work.

You will collaborate with IT, Product, and Engineering to resolve escalated incidents, improve service delivery, and contribute to knowledge management, including on-call rotation as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in IT support or technical services.
• Bachelor's degree in IT, Healthcare Informatics, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience supporting IT environments, preferably in healthcare or mission-critical settings.
• Strong customer service and relationship-management skills.
• Solid knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, and troubleshooting principles.
• Hands-on experience with PC/server hardware and Linux/Windows CLI.
• Experience with ticketing systems and ITIL-based processes.
• Familiarity with archival systems and storage media.
• Excellent diagnostic and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
• Preferred: PACS, Radiology, DICOM, HL7 experience.
• Certifications: CompTIA Linux, RHCA/RHCT, CCNA/CCNP (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary technical contact for users, coordinating issue resolution.
• Lead as primary implementation resource for client projects from kickoff to completion.
• Provide second-level technical support for healthcare IT systems.
• Coordinate projects and tasks with clear communication to customers.
• Participate in rotating support schedule and triage incidents.
• Collaborate with IT, Product, Engineering to resolve problems.
• Maintain detailed incident records in the ticketing system.
• Contribute to development of support processes and knowledge base.
• Provide timely updates and professional service to key customers.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and internal policies.
• Participate in on-call coverage as required.
