Job summary

WeTravel is seeking an experienced player-coach to lead the Solutions Engineering team in Amsterdam. You will own complex technical customer engagements end to end, designing and building integrations between WeTravel and third‑party systems while developing a small team of Sales Engineers and Technical Account Managers.

You’ll work across pre- and post‑sale, guiding solution design, driving adoption, and shaping our Professional Services as the team grows in an ambitious, fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years in solutions engineering or related customer-facing technical roles.
• Reading API documentation, troubleshooting integrations, data-flow design between systems.
• Experience mentoring or leading a technical or customer-facing team for at least 5 years.
• Ability to lead technical discussions with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery, solution design, and demos for high-value prospects and existing customers.
• Provide hands-on support across integrations (Google Analytics, Zapier, QuickBooks, public APIs, webhooks).
• Escalation point for senior technical issues and maintain prioritisation framework for the team.
