Job summary

Alberdingk Thijm Scholen in Hilversum is seeking a Head of the PYP, PYP coordinator and classroom teacher to help shape the curriculum and oversee relationships with parents and the upper school. You will join a well-established team that provides guidance and support, with a focus on leaders with proven track records in primary school leadership.

The role requires IB PYP experience and a multidisciplinary mindset, with active involvement in school life beyond the classroom.

Qualifications

• You have a recognised (DUO bevoegd) teaching qualification.
• You have experience in leading teams in a primary school.
• You have experience with teaching IB PYP.
• You have a multidisciplinary interest(s) and would be keen to get involved in school life beyond just your role.
• You live in the Netherlands and have a work visa or European/NL passport.

Responsibilities

• Lead the PYP department as Head of PYP, PYP coordinator and teacher.
