Job summary

International School Hilversum (ISH) is seeking a Head of Primary Department/PYP Coordinator to lead the PYP team, design the curriculum, and teach. You will collaborate with staff to strengthen parent relations and coordinate with the upper school.

Candidates with leadership experience in primary IB PYP are highly valued and you should be based in the Netherlands with valid work eligibility. The role involves guiding a diverse PYP team, engaging in school life beyond the classroom, and

Qualifications

• You have a recognised (DUO bevoegd) teaching qualification.
• You have experience in leading teams in a primary school.
• You have experience with teaching IB PYP.
• You have a multidisciplinary interest(s) and would be keen to get involved in school life beyond just your role.
• You live in the Netherlands and have a work visa or European/NL passport.

Head of Primary Department/PYP Coordinator

We are looking for a Head of our PYP Department who wants to stimulate student's creativity and natural curiosity. Join our experienced and diverse PYP team as a part of International School Hilversum (ISH). We are a warm and friendly school where we create a home away from home for expats and repats from all over the world.

You will join the PYP Department as Head of the PYP, PYP coordinator and as teacher.
You are responsible, with your colleagues, for designing the curriculum, overseeing relationships with parents and the upper school.
The team is experienced and well established and you will receive guidance and support.
We are particularly interested in candidates that have a proven track record in leadership roles.
