Job summary

International School Hilversum (ISH) is seeking a Head of Primary Department/PYP Coordinator to lead the PYP team, design the curriculum, and teach. You will collaborate with staff to strengthen parent relations and coordinate with the upper school.

Candidates with leadership experience in primary IB PYP are highly valued and you should be based in the Netherlands with valid work eligibility. The role involves guiding a diverse PYP team, engaging in school life beyond the classroom, and

Qualifications

• You have a recognised (DUO bevoegd) teaching qualification.
• You have experience in leading teams in a primary school.
• You have experience with teaching IB PYP.
• You have a multidisciplinary interest(s) and would be keen to get involved in school life beyond just your role.
• You live in the Netherlands and have a work visa or European/NL passport.

Responsibilities

• Design the curriculum for the PYP department in collaboration with colleagues.
• Oversee relationships with parents and the upper school.
• Join the PYP department as Head of PYP, PYP coordinator and as teacher.
• Provide guidance and support to the team and school community.
