Job summary

Monex Europe seeks a Head of Desk for the Italian market in Amsterdam to lead commercial strategy, build client relationships and drive revenue growth. You will manage a team of sales professionals, set targets and negotiate complex deals while ensuring regulatory compliance across the desk.

You will work closely with Dealing, Compliance, and Risk teams, partnering with leadership in London, Madrid and the Monex network as the desk expands in Europe.

Qualifications

• 7+ years’ experience in FX, international payments or financial markets sales.
• Fluency in Italian and English is mandatory. English is the working language.
• Proven experience leading and developing sales teams.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the commercial strategy for the Italian market.
• Own the desk’s revenue targets and KPIs with weekly, monthly, quarterly goals.
• Lead and develop a high-performance sales team and hire talent as needed.
• Originate and manage key Italian-speaking client relationships.
• Maintain disciplined pipeline, forecasting and CRM hygiene.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and risk controls across the desk.
• Lead market presence activities and represent Monex at events.
