Monex Europe Ltd in Amsterdam is seeking a Head of Desk for the Italian market to build, lead and grow our Italian sales desk. You will be accountable for desk revenue performance, and you will set strategy, lead a sales team and cultivate senior client relationships.

You will originate opportunities, negotiate complex deals and ensure compliant, sustainable revenue growth in a fast-paced, global FX environment. Fluency in Italian and English is mandatory.

Formación

• 7+ years’ experience in FX, international payments or financial markets sales.
• Fluency in Italian and English is mandatory; English is the working language.
• Experience leading and developing sales teams, ideally as Head of Desk or similar.
• Established network within the Italian corporate and institutional market.
• Strong commercial negotiation skills and comfort owning pricing and margin conversations.
• Solid understanding of the regulatory environment governing FX and payments in Europe.
• Track record of building and managing a pipeline in a target-driven environment.

Responsabilidades

• Define and execute the commercial strategy for the Italian market, aligned with growth plans.
• Own the desk’s revenue targets and KPIs across weekly, monthly and quarterly horizons.
• Set targets and KPIs for the team and monitor performance.
• Identify new products and initiatives to grow revenue with business cases to leadership.
• Lead, coach and develop sales professionals; hire talent as desk grows.
• Manage key relationships with Italian-speaking clients; act as trusted adviser on FX exposure.
• Lead complex negotiations ensuring margin discipline.
• Maintain a disciplined pipeline with accurate forecasting and effective CRM use.
• Report desk performance and market insights to senior leadership.
• Balance revenue with compliance and regulatory policies.
• Lead marketing activity for the desk and represent Monex at client events.
