Job summary

The Hoxton, Lloyd Amsterdam is seeking a Director of Sales to lead the property-based sales team and drive revenue across corporate, group and MICE segments. You will report to the Global VP of Sales and the on-site General Manager, shaping annual sales plans and market strategy.

You will build a high-performing team, maintain deep local market knowledge, negotiate rates, and coordinate with Revenue, Brand, Digital, PR, and Ops to deliver strong results.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in hotel sales and revenue growth.
• Strong leadership with ability to develop a proactive team.
• Excellent relationship building with corporate, group and MICE accounts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement an annual sales plan with the Revenue Team and Global VP of Sales.
• Lead and develop the on-property sales team to achieve targets.
• Maintain deep knowledge of the Amsterdam marketplace and Hoxton locations.
• Manage a portfolio of accounts, lead rate negotiations and maximize market share.
• Plan RFP seasons and coordinate with Revenue Management and Head of Sales.
• Collaborate with Brand, Digital, PR, Ops and GM teams for revenue results.
• Drive new business across Corporate, Group and MICE segments; monitor conversions.
• Represent The Hoxton at industry events and organize client entertainments.
