Job summary

The Harbour Club Amsterdam Zuid, located in the Apollo Hotel Amsterdam, is seeking a driven Head Chef who leads by example and elevates our kitchen to reflect our brand and high standards. You will oversee the kitchen on busy evenings, events, and private dining, ensuring consistency, quality, and creativity.

Work closely with the Executive Chef to design menus, coordinate with Restaurant Manager and F&B Manager, and communicate smoothly with the service team.

Qualifications

• Culinary level 3 or 4 degree.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Product and cooking technique knowledge.
• Experience with HACCP.
• Flexible and available evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the kitchen team to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Co-create menus with the Executive Chef.
• Coordinate with the service team and check orders.
• Hands-on leadership on the kitchen floor.
