Job summary

The July Amsterdam Boat & Co, led by Hotelprofessionals, invites a Cluster Head Chef to steer Vessel and The 51 kitchens in Amsterdam. You will set tone, standards and culture, develop menus, and ensure excellence across breakfast, lunch, dinner, events and private dining.

We seek a creative yet structured leader with HACCP knowledge, strong financial sense, and the ability to manage two distinct kitchens while maintaining top quality and service.

Qualifications

Experience leading high-volume, premium restaurants or brasseries.
Strong knowledge of classic techniques and production-led menus.
Proven track record in breakfast, lunch and dinner concepts.
Excellent hygiene, food safety, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

Act as the culinary leader for Vessel and The 51, aligning kitchens with brand standards.
Design seasonal menus reflecting concept and Amsterdam market.
Lead, train and retain a high-performing kitchen team.
Oversee breakfast, lunch and dinner service and events.
Manage food margins, supply chain, waste and cost control.
Ensure impeccable hygiene and compliance across kitchens.
