De Lindenhoeve in Sluis is seeking a Head Chef to lead our kitchen with passion and craftsmanship, shaping a distinctive menu that blends classic French influences with local ingredients.

You will drive daily operations, inspire your team and ensure mise en place and high-quality dishes, while staying compliant with HACCP standards. The role offers development opportunities, flexible day hours and a warm, ambitious team in a prime coastal region.

Qualifications

• Chef’s diploma and classic French cuisine experience is an advantage.
• At least 10 years of experience as a cook; head chef preferred.
• Strong leadership and team development mindset.
• Knowledge of HACCP regulations and food safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage, supervise and motivate the kitchen team.
• Develop new dishes and menus.
• Purchase and stock management.
• Prepare schedules and organise the kitchen efficiently.
• Train pupils and colleagues in development.
• Ensure perfect mise en place and daily prep.
