Job summary

Pillows Grand Boutique Hotel Maurits at the Park in Amsterdam is seeking a Head Chef for the General Kitchen to lead and elevate every service. You will oversee banqueting for events, breakfast operation, and the high-end offerings for Fitz’s Bar, VanOost and Spring Café Brasserie, ensuring consistency and culinary excellence.

Working closely with renowned chefs Floris van Straalen and Luigi Di Benedetto, you will mentor a skilled kitchen team, drive menus, cost control, and a five-star guest

Pillows Grand Boutique Hotel Maurits at the Park

Pillows Grand Boutique Hotel Maurits at the Park opened in November 2022 and is a luxury 5-star hotel. The hotel is located in the green Oosterpark in Amsterdam Oost. Within a year and a half of its opening, the hotel has already won several prestigious awards. It achieved the number 1 position on TripAdvisor, surpassing more than 400 other hotels in Amsterdam.

What are you going to do?

Role

As Head Chef of the General Kitchen at Pillows Maurits at the Park, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the flawless execution of all culinary services beyond our signature restaurants. You’ll oversee and elevate the quality of the following:

• Banqueting for events and meetings
• Breakfast service, offering guests the perfect start to their day
• High-quality bites for Fitz’s Bar
• Staff meals, ensuring a motivated and energized team
• Pastry production, adding finesse to every sweet creation
• Room service, providing guests with an exceptional in-room dining experience

You’ll also work hand‑in‑hand with renowned chefs Floris van Straalen (VanOost Restaurant) and Luigi Di Benedetto (Spring Café Brasserie), forming a top‑tier culinary team that embodies the ambition and excellence of Pillows Maurits at the Park.
