Job summary

Studio Automated, based in Amsterdam, is redefining how the sports and media industry operates through AI-driven camera automation. A Hardware Operations Manager will own logistics, stock and ERP, ensuring orders move from confirmation to delivery and that procurement stays ahead of demand.

You will build scalable processes as we grow across markets and edge/cloud platforms. You will lead a small team, collaborate with sales, integration and finance, and report to the Head of Hardware.

A match can’t be streamed if the camera is stuck in customs. As we grow into more sports and markets, every system has to reach the right venue on time. As Hardware Operations Manager, you build the operation that makes that happen.

About Studio Automated

At Studio Automated, we are redefining how the sports and media industry operates through AI-driven camera automation.

Based in Amsterdam, overlooking the IJ, Studio Automated develops intelligent technology that automates the pan, tilt and zoom of cameras for sports productions and media environments. Since 2020, our technology has been scaling rapidly across the globe on edge devices and in the cloud.

Our systems run from affordable Streaming setups that let clubs stream every match automatically, to Broadcast-grade multi-camera and VAR solutions for top-level productions. Our customers range from sports clubs and sports analytics companies to streaming providers and broadcasters, and the number of sports we cover keeps growing.

In April 2026, Studio Automated was acquired by two major players in the market, marking the start of our next growth phase as a scale-up company. The best is still ahead, and it is the perfect time to join during the scaling phase.

We are now looking for an experienced Hardware Operations Manager to join our hardware team.

The role

Our hardware team is three people, so you own a whole domain: logistics and operations. From cameras and mounts to edge servers, you keep parts, stock and orders moving, and you own our supply chain, ERP and order management. You will report to the Head of Hardware.

You will:

• Manage orders from confirmation to delivery and fulfilment
• Source suppliers and handle procurement of hardware and components
• Keep inventory accurate and report on stock, lead times and costs
• Arrange shipping, customs and import/export across countries
• Set up, run and improve our ERP system
• Build processes that scale as order volumes grow

Technical profile

Required:

• Experience with order management and fulfilment
• Experience with procurement and supplier sourcing
• Strong reporting and inventory management skills
• Working knowledge of shipping, customs and import/export
• Hands-on experience setting up and administering an ERP system

Bonus:

• Experience with electronics or AV hardware supply chains
• Knowledge of EU and non-EU customs procedures (HS codes, Incoterms)
• Experience with ERP systems for small, growing companies
