Job summary

GSM - Green SM in Amsterdam seeks a Setup Specialist/PMO to lead hands-on implementation of locations, equipment, and workflows to support growth. You will coordinate with IT, logistics, and facilities, manage vendors, maintain setup records, and ensure safety, quality, and compliance across sites.

Applicants should have 3–5+ years in operations setup and fluent English; Dutch is a strong advantage and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations or a related field.
• 3–5+ years in operations setup, project coordination, or facilities.
• Hands-on, execution-focused mindset with attention to detail.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and vendors.
• Basic understanding of operational processes and safety standards.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Willingness to travel when required.
• Valid driving license is a plus.
• Fluent in English; Dutch is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Execute setup activities for new locations, equipment, and workflows.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to complete tasks.
• Support SOPs related to setup and operations.
• Ensure setup complies with policies, safety, and standards.
• Track progress and report issues to stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot and resolve setup-related issues to minimize disruption.
• Maintain basic documentation, checklists, and setup records.
• Work with IT, logistics, and facilities during setup and rollout.
