Job summary

GSM - Green SM in Amsterdam is seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to oversee daily fleet operations, manage drivers and vehicles, coordinate maintenance, and ensure service quality.

This hands-on role requires automotive experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to think quickly under pressure. You will supervise, train drivers, monitor performance, and collaborate across teams to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Automotive, Business, Human Resource Management, or related field.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Proficient in basic computer tools (MS Word, Excel, etc.).
• Experience in fleet operations, vehicle maintenance, and insurance processes.
• Hands‑on experience managing technical vehicle issues and driver operations.
• Strong problem‑solving skills in operational and incident scenarios.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day operations of the driver and vehicle fleet
• Coordinate vehicle maintenance, repairs, and insurance claims
• Monitor service quality, revenue performance, and team productivity
• Manage and train new drivers , and support performance recognition programs
• Organize driver groups into efficient, manageable clusters
• Ensure compliance with all internal policies and procedures
• Collaborate cross-functionally to solve issues as they arise
