Job summary

Tivoli Doelen Amsterdam invites ambitious hospitality students to join as a Guest Relations Intern. You will welcome guests, support VIPs, and collaborate with hotel teams to create memorable stays in a luxury setting.

Throughout the internship you will learn about local attractions, participate in tours for guests and partners, and gain insights into luxury operations while delivering warm, personalized service.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in an educational institution during the internship period.
• Confident, approachable and enjoy building connections with people from all over the world.
• Genuine passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
• Creative with a strong eye for detail and thoughtful guest interactions.
• Calm and solution oriented when handling guest requests or feedback.
• Positive, professional and prepared to collaborate with colleagues across departments.
• Excellent English communication skills, both spoken and written; additional languages are a plus.
• Eager to learn, take initiative and contribute new ideas.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist guests throughout their stay, with attention to VIPs and special occasions.
• Build meaningful relationships with guests and anticipate opportunities to personalize their experience.
• Act as a key point of contact between guests and departments, ensuring requests are handled smoothly and efficiently.
• Share knowledge of the hotel, Amsterdam, and local attractions to enhance the guest experience.
• Conduct hotel tours for potential guests, partners, and event organisers.
• Handle guest feedback with professionalism and support service recovery efforts.
• Contribute creative ideas and identify opportunities to elevate the guest experience.
