Job summary

Park Plaza Amsterdam Airport is seeking a Waiter(ess) to join our Food & Beverage team. You will deliver warm hospitality, take orders, and serve guests in line with brand standards at a hotel near Schiphol Airport.

Role requires strong English communication and a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Prior hospitality experience is preferred, with opportunities for professional growth within PPHE Hotel Group.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel/restaurant or hospitality environment.
• Knowledge of food and beverage service standards.
• Customer-facing experience.
• Dutch or additional language skills are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide warm, friendly, and professional service.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
• Serve food and drinks in line with brand and service standards.
• Ensure tables are cleared, cleaned, and reset promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation throughout the restaurant and bar areas.
• Handle guest requests and resolve queries professionally.
• Work closely with the kitchen and Food & Beverage team to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Support conferences, events, and other Food & Beverage activities when required.
• Passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• Positive, reliable, and proactive attitude.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills.
