Job summary

Adyen is seeking a highly organized, technically fluent Project Manager for Growth Compliance to enable business expansion across new products, markets, partners, and payment methods from Amsterdam. You will drive cross-functional execution at the intersection of Payments Compliance, Product, Engineering, Commercial, Partnerships, Legal, and Operations to unblock launches and shape scalable programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in technical program management, product operations, payments, fintech, risk, compliance, or similarly cross-functional roles.
• Strong understanding of payments infrastructure, payment methods, network rules, or merchant payment flows.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives with competing priorities and dependencies.
• Excellent organizational skills with a structured approach to planning, execution, risk management, and follow-through.
• Experience supporting launches or changes involving compliance, product, legal, or partner considerations.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional growth programs from initial problem definition through technical launch, governance, and post-launch optimization.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to translate complex scheme/network rules into clear technical requirements, controls, and automated workflows.
• Collaborate with Commercial, Legal, Risk, and regional teams to clear dependencies, resolve risks, and align on launch readiness.
• Design pragmatic decision frameworks and playbooks for high-growth merchant use cases that fall outside standard network mandates.
• Maintain program roadmaps, decision logs, and operational metrics while escalating blockers with actionable recommendations.
