Job summary

CitizenM is seeking a Groups & Meetings Specialist to lead the sales and day-to-day organization of group and meeting business for all citizenM hotels. You will manage target revenues, pricing, negotiations, and plan and implement sales activities to acquire group business.

You will collaborate closely with the sales and demand teams, coordinators, and other groups & meetings specialists to optimize activities, coordinate group blocks and bookings, prepare quotes, and support the team with

Qualifications

• Group and/or meeting business experience required.
• Customer focused mindset with strong negotiation skills.
• Proactive attitude with initiative and strong organizational skills.
• Fluent in English and Dutch or other second language.
• Bachelor degree required.

Responsibilities

• Accept and convert the right groups - decision making.
• Point of contact for group and meeting bookers from Marriott sales organisation, companies, travel agents and conference centers for all locations
• Managing group blocks and meeting room bookings using all the tools available
• Create a group quote, send out offer following the SLA
• Work closely with the sales & demand team and revenue tool OneYield for pricing decisions
• Proactive approach to acquire repeat clientele and build relations
• Account management and build out production
• Work on projects and other administrative activities
• Assist groups & meetings coordinators with organizing tasks where needed
