Job summary

Hitachi Energy in Rotterdam seeks a Project Planner / Project Controls Specialist to handle, control and monitor large-scale customer projects. You will define responsibilities, develop schedules, prepare time plans, and coordinate with European teams to ensure on-time delivery and contractual compliance.

Ideal candidates have a strong background in project management and scheduling tools (Primavera, MS Project) and excel in communication and teamwork in English and Dutch.

Qualifications

• Degree in electrical or mechanical engineering (Bachelor/Master/Dipl.).
• Significant experience in project management, execution and scheduling / project controls (scheduling, resource planning, cost control).
• Proficient in Primavera and MS Project scheduling tools.
• Knowledge of MS Office including SharePoint.
• PMI-SP or related scheduling trainings is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define responsibilities and task distribution for scheduling per Hitachi Energy policies.
• Develop, update and analyze project schedules regularly.
• Prepare tender and project time schedules.
• Collaborate with planners across Hitachi Energy units in Europe on schedules.
