Job summary

Hitachi Energy THE NETHERLANDS B.V. in Rotterdam is seeking a Project Planner / Project Controls Specialist to define responsibilities, develop schedules, prepare time plans, and collaborate with planners across Europe.

You will monitor progress and ensure compliance with Hitachi policies while coordinating with internal and external stakeholders. The role requires extensive scheduling experience, Primavera/MS Project proficiency, and fluency in English and Dutch, with a drive to deliver

Qualifications

• Degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or comparable.
• Experience in project management and scheduling / controls.
• PMI-SP certification or related training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define responsibilities and distribute tasks within the team for scheduling.
• Develop, update, and analyze project schedules.
• Prepare tender and project time schedules.
• Collaborate with planners across Hitachi Energy units.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and act as central planning contact.
• Monitor progress to ensure on-time, contract-compliant delivery.
• Ensure health, safety and environmental guidelines compliance.
