FTI Consulting is seeking graduates to join its Turnaround & Restructuring practice in the Netherlands. You will work on high-stakes engagements assessing financial distress, evaluating options, and supporting restructuring efforts for a diverse client base across the Benelux and internationally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor and Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Financial Economics, Accounting & Financial Management, or related field.
• Graduating with a degree, master’s or PhD in 2027 or have graduated in 2026.
• Fluency in both English and Dutch language is required (Advanced).
• Excel / Data skills including financial modeling and scenario analyses.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a highly skilled team to assess financial distress situations, identify liquidity challenges, analyze capital structures, conduct Independent Business Reviews (IBRs) and identify & develop restructuring solutions.
• Work with clients directly across industries, primarily located in the Benelux and often operating internationally, allowing you to develop a broad experience and propel your learning.
• Build and analyze detailed cash flow forecasts to evaluate short-term liquidity needs and funding requirements, next to more complex financial models to assess various restructuring scenarios going forward and related debt capacity analyses.
• Assist in operational restructuring analyses by identifying cost reduction opportunities and efficiency improvements.
• Assist in preparing and executing stakeholder management with creditors, lenders, and other stakeholders during financial restructuring processes.
• Support in preparing clear, concise reports and presentations that communicate complex financial situations to diverse stakeholders.
