Job summary

FTI Consulting in the Netherlands is seeking graduates to join the Transaction Advisory practice. You will work on buy-side and sell-side due diligence across diverse sectors in a national and international deal environment.

You’ll gain insights, broaden knowledge, and develop professionally in a structured program. Ideal candidates have a Master’s degree in finance, accounting, or related fields, strong analytical skills, and fluency in English and Dutch.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, economics, or a related field.
• Graduating with a degree, master’s or PhD in 2027 or have graduated in 2026.
• Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Fluency in English and Dutch language is required.
• Previous work experience in the form of internships in a relevant field.

Responsibilities

• Build and update the financial data book (with guidance from Consultants and Senior Consultants).
• Associates prepare several financial analyses to understand the financial performance and financial position of a wide variety of businesses in different sectors/industries.
• Associates prepare questions to be addressed to management to better understand the business.
• Prepare draft report sections for due diligence projects, with support from Consultants and Senior Consultants.
• As an Associate you take ownership of your own work by performing quality checks.
• Develop an understanding of the value drivers of a company.
• Develop an understanding of the impact of our work on our clients, the deal and the purchase price.
