Job summary

SITA invites graduates to join as a Graduate Design Engineer in the Passengers at Airports division in the Netherlands. You will participate in design and engineering projects, supporting all phases of the product creation lifecycle and tackling real-world challenges from day one.

Reporting to a Senior Product Manager, you will develop concepts, prototypes, and visualizations while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver top-quality aviation products.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in industrial design, mechanical engineering, or related field.
• Less than 24 months post-graduate experience.
• Must be eligible to work in the Netherlands without sponsorship.
• Fluent in English.

PURPOSE

As a Graduate Design Engineer, you will participate in various design and engineering projects that directly contribute to the self‑service products we create for our customers. You will be accountable for supporting and contributing to all phases of the product creation lifecycle and tackling real‑world challenges from day one.

Reporting to Senior Product Manager, you will be a part of the Design and Engineering team, responsible for delivering top‑quality products to the aviation industry within our Passengers at Airports division.

What You Will Do

• Develop product and feature concepts.

• Conduct product design, design engineering, and mechanical engineering tasks.
• Leverage research and design skills to improve the sustainability of SITA products.

Qualifications

Who you are

• Soft skills: Analytical, action‑oriented, communication, and a good sense of humour
• Hard skills: Product Design, Mechanical Engineering, SolidWorks, KeyShot, and similar tools
• Must have a master’s degree in industrial design, mechanical engineering, or a related field
• Must have less than 24 months’ post‑graduate experience (excluding undergraduate placement/ internship experience)
• Must be eligible to work in The Netherlands without the need for a work permit or sponsorship
• Fluent in English
