Job summary

SITA Group, a leading aviation tech provider, seeks a Graduate Design Engineer to contribute to self‑service product development for the aviation industry. You will support and learn from a multidisciplinary team within the Passengers at Airports division.

You will gain hands-on experience across design, engineering, and prototyping, progressing to independent small design projects within your first year, with mentorship from a Buddy and a Mentor as part of the program.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in industrial design or mechanical engineering.
• Less than 24 months of post-graduate experience.
• Eligible to work in the Netherlands without sponsorship.
• Fluent in English.

PURPOSE

As a Graduate Design Engineer, you will participate in various design and engineering projects that directly contribute to the self‑service products we create for our customers. You will be accountable for supporting and contributing to all phases of the product creation lifecycle and tacking real‑world challenges from day one.

Reporting to Senior Product Manager, you will be a part of the Design and Engineering team, responsible for delivering top‑quality products to the aviation industry within our Passengers at Airports division.

Qualifications

Who you are

• Soft skills: Analytical, action‑oriented, communication, and a good sense of humour
• Hard skills: Product Design, Mechanical Engineering, SolidWorks, KeyShot, and similar tools
• Must have a master’s degree in industrial design, mechanical engineering, or a related field
• Must have less than 24 months’ post‑graduate experience (excluding undergraduate placement/ internship experience)
• Must be eligible to work in The Netherlands without the need for a work permit or sponsorship
• Fluent in English
