Job summary

ING Nederland is seeking a seasoned executive to lead the WB COO Transaction Services domain, covering Daily Banking, Client Services and Trade. You will define the global operations strategy and drive transformation across a large, international delivery network.

Reporting to the WB COO and collaborating with the WB Head of Transaction Services, you will lead senior teams and translate strategy into scalable, AI-enabled delivery.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Economics or comparable field.
• 15+ years in senior management roles with COO agenda in Daily Banking, Client Services and Trade.
• Proven ability to set strategy and translate into execution across a large, complex global ops organization.
• Transformation mindset with the ambition to adopt and lead AI initiatives.
• Strong executive leadership with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Balance strategic direction, execution, risk, workforce and product priorities.

Responsibilities

• Set global WB COO strategy for Daily Banking, Client Services and Trade and ensure implementation across regions and teams.
• Drive global operations at product level and steer Operations Leads for Payments, Trade and Client Services.
• Act as COO sparring partner for WB Global Head of Transaction Services and collaborate with WB COO leadership.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and robust operational risk management and reporting.
• Embed AI-first strategy across the product suite by partnering with AI experts and advancing agents and models.
• Lead and develop the senior management team and build a future-ready global workforce.
• Manage complex international stakeholder landscape across multiple bodies.
