Job summary

ING is seeking a seasoned executive to lead the WB COO Transaction Services domain, overseeing Daily Banking, Client Services and Trade across a global network. You will translate ING’s AI-first ambition into scalable delivery, transformation and operational excellence for thousands of clients.

You will shape the global operations strategy, manage a large leadership team and drive regulatory compliance, risk management and performance across regions.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Economics or a comparable field.
• 15+ years in senior management with COO/operations experience.
• Proven ability to set strategy and translate into execution across a global operations organization.
• Transformation mindset with AI adoption experience.
• Strong executive leadership and stakeholder-management skills.
• Clear communication and adaptable leadership style.

Responsibilities

• Set global WB COO strategy for Daily Banking, Client Services and Trade.
• Drive global operations at product level and steer delivery and workforce.
• Act as COO sparring partner for the WB Global Head of Transaction Services and senior partner to the WB COO leadership.
• Ensure operations comply with regulatory requirements and risk reporting.
• Embed the AI-first strategy across the full product suite with AI agents and models.
• Lead and develop the senior management team for a global workforce.
• Manage complex international stakeholder landscape across teams and regulators.
