Job summary

Supermicro is seeking a Director of Global Trade Compliance (BV) to lead European/export controls, customs, and regulatory governance from its Netherlands headquarters. The role partners with Sales, Operations, Legal, and IT to scale compliant operations across Europe, focusing on AI, HPC, and cloud infrastructure markets.

You will guide policy, classifications, licensing strategies, and due diligence, while driving process improvements and technology-enabled compliance initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• 12+ years in global trade compliance with 7+ years in leadership.
• Experience supporting multinational tech, semiconductor, or HPC industries.
• Experience implementing compliance process improvements and automation.

Responsibilities

• Lead export compliance activities and policy development.
• Oversee EU and Dutch import/customs compliance programs.
• Develop KPIs, dashboards, and reporting for trade compliance.
• Partner with senior leadership to identify regulatory risks and solutions.
• Drive digital transformation and automation in compliance tools.
