Job summary

Sibelco Group is seeking a proactive sustainability professional to join our Centre of Excellence. You will develop and implement global ESG strategies, combine regulatory knowledge with practical solutions across functions worldwide, and engage stakeholders to drive value.

The role emphasizes CSRD, CSDDD, EU Taxonomy and PPWR compliance, ESG disclosures, and funding opportunities. You will report to the Sustainability team and collaborate across international business units.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent in sustainability, environmental sciences, law, or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in sustainability, ESG, regulatory compliance, reporting, or related.
• Strong knowledge of European sustainability regulation and reporting (CSRD, CSDDD, EU Taxonomy, PPWR).
• Ability to translate complex legal and technical requirements into pragmatic business processes, concise guidance and senior-level messages.
• Experience contributing to ESG disclosures and sustainability reporting.
• Experience in funding, grant or subsidy screening and applications is an advantage.
• Confidence engaging with customers, suppliers, industry bodies, consultants and other external stakeholders.
• Strong project management, stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration in an international environment.
• Advanced written and spoken English; local language is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Regulatory intelligence and impact assessment: Track and interpret ESG regulations and identify impacts for Sibelco.
• Sustainability compliance: Drive CSRD, CSDDD, EU Taxonomy, PPWR compliance and policy implementation.
• ESG disclosure and reporting: Support high-quality ESG disclosures and monitor data quality.
• Funding, grants and subsidies: Identify and support applications for relevant funding opportunities.
• Customer and supplier engagement: Engage with customers and suppliers to advance sustainability objectives.
• External representation: Represent Sibelco in industry associations and external stakeholder forums.
