Job summary

Stryker Group is seeking an experienced sourcing leader in a multinational setup. You will develop and lead strategic sourcing initiatives for communications-related commodities, managing a small team across the US and Europe, including Germany and the Netherlands.

You will oversee contract strategies, supplier evaluations, and risk mitigation while aligning with divisional priorities. The role requires deep expertise in supplier management, cost control, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in Supply Management with focus on strategic sourcing and supplier development.
• Knowledge and application of supplier contract strategy, negotiations and administration.
• Knowledge of continuous improvement and cost reduction methodologies.
• Experience with supplier metrics and supporting systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies for assigned commodities.
• Lead and manage a team across multiple sites to drive strategic planning and spend analysis.
• Oversee sourcing analyses, cost evaluations, and make-versus-buy assessments.
• Create and monitor supplier contracts; negotiate terms and enforce agreements.
• Identify supply risks and implement mitigation plans, evaluating supplier stability and ethics.
• Gather market intelligence to inform cost controls and strategy adjustments.
• Lead enterprise-wide metrics and processes for sourcing and supplier management.
